Thrudball 2009 Rules and Info Pack
SPORTSMANSHIP
No sportsmanship scores will be added in this event. If you are in breach of
sportsmanship you will be yellow carded this deducts 10 points from your score, if you
persist in un-sportsman like behaviour a red card will eliminate you from
the event. The
referees will be looking for examples of great sportsmanship, please tell us if you’re
impressed by your opponents attitude in this respect.

OH NO NOT PENALTIES AGAIN…
In the event that the Thrudball Final is a tie, the game will go to PENALTIES, this is a
dice game which involves the two players rolling 5 D6, the players take it in turns to roll
their dice.
You may roll the dice up to 5 times; each time you must keep at least one result.
To score anything you must have a 2 and a 4 in your results.
Your score is the total shown on the other 3 dice...

e.g. Roll 1: You roll 5 dice and get 2,2,6,3 and 5. You could re-roll four dice four times,
but say you decide to keep a 2 and a 6, and re-roll the other 2,3 and 5. Note this reduces
your total number of rolls by one, as you must keep at least one result each time you roll.
Roll 2:
You roll 6,3 and 2. You could keep the 6 and re-roll the 3 and 2.
Roll 3: You roll a double 6. You must keep one of the 6's, but must roll again, as
until you have a 4 in the dice set you have settled with your score is still Zero!

Therefore you would have only one roll left to come up with a 4...if you did, it would give
you the Max Score of 2,4,6,6,6 that’s a score of 18

(This idea was borrowed from the Spikey Open, thanks guys!)

BRBBA-LICIOUS! NIGHT OUT
Bognor Town on a Saturday night… a holiday atmosphere
in mid July… tour the local inns … eat, drink and party! See
Mark(The “Animal”) or Althea on Saturday for the best places
to eat, drink, relax…or boogie! This year we’ll be hanging out
at the Waterloo on Saturday evening to play Piss on the Squig, Perudo,
Dim-A-Ryp, etc – oh, and to eat worms / lose chest hair / Be Thrudlike!

WHY BOGNOR REGIS?
Bognor is officially the sunniest sea side town in England, with
plenty of pubs, a pier and a Butlins for the kids (if you want to
make it a family weekend). Also close by is:
• the Witterings, a great award winning sandy beach;
• Chichester (better shopping than Bognor maybe, Chi also has
a Multiplex cinema, a cathedral and a great sports centre with pool);
• The beautiful South Downs (best viewed from Goodwood Hill-or
by plane via Tangmere airfield);

Within half an hours drive are Worthing and Portsmouth.

Southampton and Brighton are an hour away.

All four make great shopping destinations if a “Bloodbowl Widow”
is accompanying you.
